DESCRIPTION:
German, Gustav Becker {Freiburg / Schloss}, C.1914, WESTMINSTER chime mantel clock, with robust Becker signed movement, serial 2,387,097, in a round gothic style mahogany case.
CONDITION:
this clock suffered some shipping damage and the board that holds the gong came loose and needs re-attaching properly [has screws]. The movement has been serviced and appears to be re-bushed. The embossed silvered dial is still in good condition, and with a subsidiary dial in the arch for 'F/S' regulation. One ball foot has come separated from its retainer. Ht 12.5"
